WELLIES has now confirmed our Autumn 2023 courses.

Our courses include a variety of activities with animals, plants, creativity, and the countryside and are specifically aimed at people recovering from mental ill health such as anxiety and depression.

Autumn activities will include cookery, keeping chickens, seasonal crafts, floristry, fishing, countryside skills, woodwork, walks, growing and harvesting fruit and vegetables.

Participants will take part in a variety of short ‘Positive Lifestyles’ workshops such as budgeting, confidence, motivation, Five Ways
to Wellbeing, healthy eating, energy efficiency, volunteering, employability skills, managing stress and positive thinking.

People benefit from being with like-minded people with the aim of developing friendships and support networks.

Spring activities will involve learning about forgotten rural crafts such as patchwork, weaving, willow work, working in the woods, cookery, sustainable living, personal survival budgets, crafts, woodwork recycling/upcycling, floristry and gardening.

WELLIES has now confirmed our Autumn 2022 courses.

Our courses include a variety of activities with animals, plants, creativity, and the countryside and are specifically aimed at people recovering from mental ill health such as anxiety and depression.

Autumn activities will involve learning about forgotten rural crafts such as patchwork, weaving, willow work, working in the woods, cooking on an open fire, countryside walks, picking and juicing apples, looking after chickens, dog walking, crafts, and floristry including Christmas designs.
